Climate denialists often complain that #renewables provide intermittent power

But they ignore that renewables are so cheap that the solution is in part to over-provision so that even if it is a bit cloudy we still have enough power.

One consequence that we already have is times when we have so much power the excess is free - like right now in the UK (till 3pm)

Usually people figure out good ways to use free stuff - I'm excited to see what the future holds.
