I've been trying to get Linux working comfortably on my desktop PC to switch away from Windows CoPilotification. It's not been a perfect experience.

Hardware support is ofc the biggest issue. Both my main NIC (RTL8127) and my Wifi/BT card (RZ717/MT7925) have issues, at least as of kernel 6.17.

Both of them will work okay until I do a soft reboot from Linux, and then they just stop being visible -- to either OS! -- until I do a hard power cycle (unplug and then hold power button down for ~30 seconds).

Really the only two things holding me back and keeping the Windows drive as my boot default.

My older laptop fares better overall, though it still has issues with the webcam (IPU6).
