Saw a post this morning that blamed the Venezuela regime change on pro-Palestine people who didn’t vote for Kamala.

Putting aside the irony of blaming anti-colonialists for colonialism -
do you really think the U.S. only becomes imperialist under republican presidents and goes back to being a democracy under democrats? Is the democracy so brittle it comes down to a couple million voters to ensure it exists?

Why was it so very easy for a tyrant to gerrymander his way to power and strike down basically every legal protection we have? Where are those “checks and balances”?

We have a systemic problem, not a temporary anomaly.
