I can't say I'm at all surprised by #discord leaking shit tons of user ID data. not only is it unreasonable to trust profit-driven entities with sensitive user data, but it's also a catastrophe for user privacy in general, and if they had any spine at all they'd resist the legislation that demands ID verification.

I hate to say I-told-you-so, but I predicted this whole thing would happen before the tech went into effect in the UK, and I stand vindicated.
