LLM은 수천 번의 반복적이고 지루한 검색을 한두 차례로 줄여 주거나 (역색인) 대량의 문서의 요지를 파악하는 등 사람이 하는 일을 극적인 효율로 도와줄 수 있다. 즉, 정량적인 도움을 줄 수 있다. 정성적인 도움을 기대하려면 뭐든 틀릴 수 있고 뭐든 깜빡할 수 있는 사람 한 명을 상대하는 것과 별반 다르지 않다고 느낀다. 결정의 크로스체크를 한번 더 하는 수준, 확정된 결과에 대한 검증의 시그마를 0.5정도 더 올리는 수준, 그뿐이다.
