저는 진보가 단합해도 진 선거와(12대선) 진보가 분열해도 승리한 선거와(17대선) 보수가 분열로 진 선거와(97대선) 보수가 분열해도 승리한 선거(07대선)를 모두 알고 있습니다. 저는 경험과 지식을 토대로 "진보는 분열로 망한다"라는 명제 자체가 다양한 이유에서 떠받들어지고 있는 미신 내지 프레이밍이라고 생각하게 됩니다. 그런 미신이 어떤 정치적 승리 또는 패배의 유력한 원인으로 호명될 수는 없다고 믿습니다. 미신에서는 되도록 벗어나고 싶습니다.
