기대하지 않고 다만 원하기로 결심했다. 기대를 하면 실망을 하고 실망을 하면 냉소를 하게 되며 냉소에 물들면 포기를 하게 된다. 포기하지 않으려면 기대부터 하지 말아야 한다. 대신 그냥 원하는 것이다. 나는 세상에 흘러넘치는 평등과 평화를 원한다. 이루어질 거라는 기대는 전혀 없다. 하지만 그냥 원한다.
