좀 더 생각줄이 짧던 시절 세속주의와 복장해방은 인권의 도움이 된다고 믿던 때도 있었다. 지금은 아니다. 누구든 무슨 이유에서든 본인이 원하는 모습으로 입고 살아가고 행동할 자유가 있다. 종교적 이유로 두꺼운 옷을 입는 것은 해방을 이유로 헐벗는 것과 정확히 동일하게 보호받아야 할 정신사상이다.
