Currently from the Mastodon Web-based user-interface (UI) you can see quote posts from other Fediverse servers.

For example, see here for what a Mastodon user sees for a bridged Bluesky post:

But, users of the Mastodon Web-based user-interface (UI) cannot create a "native" quote-post themselves yet.

@reiver@reiver ⊼ (Charles) Oh, interesting, there is no quote property in that post from Bridgy. This means they support _misskey_quote / quoteUrl / Link tag.

If you have a fediverse account, you can quote this note from your own instance. Search https://mitra.social/objects/01976ee9-5a8a-b728-9d7d-1833b1cea7cb on your instance and quote it. (Note that quoting is not supported in Mastodon.)
