un tempo Linux e le sue utility erano fatti per funzionare su qualsiasi hardware. dal 386 in su. fosse successa l'apocalisse ti trovavi con hardware limitato e linux avrebbe funzionato. poi hanno prevalso pure li logiche commerciali. ed ecco che basta avere una cpu a 32 bit neppure troppo vecchia per non avere più un sistema operativo che ci gira...
