Today's APOD has been my work laptop wallpaper (across three laptops now) since the autumn of 2015.
Or technically not the APOD/NASA version but the quick one I made shortly after downlink. Because this image is basically an unprocessed MVIC panchromatic scan. It would've been even more stunning in color, but it was optimized for depth to see what expected to be a very faint detached haze, and MVIC couldn't do both.
In reality, the very thick haze of Pluto is more a low pressure version of Titan's thick haze. Or a smog over a city.
