Quiet public

If I hadn't forgotten to put on my white corset cover, you could better see the lace insertion of the blouse! But buttoning yourself into a back closing garment is hard enough I didn't want to redo it 😂

Both the skirt and blouse are a very light, quite sheer cotton batiste. You can see the stripes of the white petticoat through it in sunlight!
I had enough leftover fabric from making the skirt that I decided I'd also make a little top... which swiftly got out of hand. The hat, skirt and blouse I made in 2022.

Here you can see the delicately puffed sleeves, the back fullness gathering to the waist at the centre back and the row of buttons. There is a lace insertion and pin tuck detail at the back yoke and the high collar doesn't have buttons, but rather snaps. You can just see the heels of her shoes peeking from under the back hem.

Sini looking absolutely delighted to have two cats sauntering towards her, side by side, their tails twining together. There is a third cat in the background, walking away, as if unmoved by such mortal concerns as being in the frame of a photograph. In this photo, Sini is dressed only in a sheer white lace top and Edwardian fluffy drawers, as detailed in the posts in the thread above.

Sini smiling down and leaning down to look at cats that are sauntering in front of her. One ginger, one a black tuxedo cat. She is holding a large black hat in her hand, dressed in a black blouse and skirt with lace details. Her hips look delightfully wide in this one.

Sini, dressed in the same, stooping down a little bit to offer her open palm to a ginger cat that is standing on his back legs, his front paws reaching towards her hand, as if he is about to give a double high five. His whiskers are jutting straight forward, concentrated on Sini. This is how Karvinen shakes hands.
There is a black tuxedo cat walking just in front of the ginger one, mostly camouflaged against the black skirt, with his little white socks visible.
