If I hadn't forgotten to put on my white corset cover, you could better see the lace insertion of the blouse! But buttoning yourself into a back closing garment is hard enough I didn't want to redo it ๐Ÿ˜‚โ€‹

Both the skirt and blouse are a very light, quite sheer cotton batiste. You can see the stripes of the white petticoat through it in sunlight!
I had enough leftover fabric from making the skirt that I decided I'd also make a little top... which swiftly got out of hand. The hat, skirt and blouse I made in 2022.

A photo of Sini wearing a floor length black skirt that hugs her hips and has lace insertion details at the front and running from the centre front to centre back, rising towards the thigh and dipping down at front and back. Her hat is very large and black velvet, with dotted veiling. She is touching the brim of her hat and vibing.A photo of the same from the back. Her hair is swept aside, unlike in the second photo in the thread. Here you can see the delicately puffed sleeves, the back fullness gathering to the waist at the centre back and the row of buttons. There is a lace insertion and pin tuck detail at the back yoke and the high collar doesn't have buttons, but rather snaps. You can just see the heels of her shoes peeking from under the back hem.
