My cat Mila used to be called Princess Mia. At the shelter. We changed her name, and it’ll always amuse me that mi4 la4 (蜜辣) also means sweet and spicy. She was exactly that. It’s also a brand of dumplings. She was also one.

Almost a month since we said goodbye to her. This was her a few months after we took her home. When she was still figuring us out.
