Over the past few years, hundreds of bills threatening TGI people’s human rights have been proposed or passed. An estimated 1.6 million transgender people living in the US, who face discrimination from legislation which legitimizes violence against the communities. Transgender people’s unemployment rate is DOUBLE the national average, and when employed 50% report employment discrimination. Transgender people also tend to have a lower income than the national average.

Transphobia is class warfare, fighting for trans rights is to fight for worker’s rights."
