Is what we're doing today in MN even a "strike"? On the face of it, probably not; it's more of a one-day protest and show of solidarity.

Regardless of what the historians decide about this moment, the use of the work is a significant shift in of itself. Previously, it was a unthinkable, even socially taboo, subject. And it's one that hasn't really happened in 100 years in the whole of the US.

And yet, it's happening.
