honestly, maybe going to the US wouldn't be that unsafe for me? the US doesn't really have that big of a problem with brazil like it does with a lot of spanish speaking america, so my main risk would be getting confused for a spanish speaker due to my accent

but like, i feel like i would be much easier to confuse for an italian or something like that lol, i mean, pretty much all of my family (except 1 indigenous uruguayan from a few generations ago) is european and that definitely shows, so maybe their racism won't trigger for me?
