doing computations in the cloud. yeah. fuck off. i can see how those are drowning out the ones that are interesting. but there is homomorphic encryption use-cases which are exciting, for example multiparty computations, where all participants hold some secret and they want to calculate a function without revealing their inputs. i guess it's not exactly called HE, but relies on homomorphic algebraic structures of encrypted inputs
