불교에서 분별심 이야기를 들었을 때, 모든 게 연속적이지만 사람이 이해하기 위해서 나누는 거구나 하는 생각을 했었다. 평범한 사람이 사물을 구별을 하지 않고 어떻게 쉽게 생각을 하겠나? 하지만 그게 단지 방편임을 기억해야 할 것이다.
