이익을 미끼로 옳은 일을 권하는 것은 효과적일 수 있으나 그것이 도덕적 접근을 대체할 수는 없다. 특정한 종류의 혐오가 특정한 때와 장소에서 경제적 이익을 가져오는 경우라는 것 또한 상상할 수 있는데, 그때는 어떻게 할 건가? 도덕적 설득을 멈춰서는 안 된다.
