"AI" nonsense

The "AI" evangelists keep finding ever more elaborate ways to not impress me. 2 weeks and $20,000 to generate a compiler for a 50-year-old language (C) that has extensive compatibility test suites available that's strictly worse than existing implementations on all fronts. Wow. Amazing.

Building Linux to the point it boots is not proof that your compiler doesn't have bugs and doesn't begin to answer "how much time and money to make it actually competitive?"
