Generic Greetings: An

The hard part of an introduction is talking about. Sometimes I'm pretty good at talking about myself, but when you have to do it somewhere new *The Voice* rears its ugly head and tries to tell me that no one cares.

The Voice may be right, but I will proceed in spite of it.

I am Zak, and I've recently accepted my latent queerness. Any pronoun but "it" is fine to use. When I explain my relationship to gender and pronoun use I tend to say "however you conceive of me in the moment," I'm not particularly arsed about them. I'm working on how I want to present myself in the physical world going from. Current project: painted nails. (Small steps are still steps). Within the confines of my home, I am playing with different sartorial choices (really enjoying skirts and heeled boots).

I am involved in a support group for trans youth and their families. I have recently volunteered to be a parent/caregiver facilitator for that group so that our local meetings can happen with more regularity. Which will be interesting as the transition only started recently for my family.

I play euphonium in a local community band. Locally I am involved in a non-profit that builds inclusive community through in person gaming ( and ).

I enjoy reading and .

My sense of humor tends to be wry and dry with deadpan delivery.

In the professional touch grass world, I am a pretty good, if fairly niche, final mile logistics specialist and a passable data wrangler.

I am predisposed to being friendly, and largely interested in what everyone has to share...as long as the basis of your beliefs is all humans have a right to exist. If that's not the fundamental basis of your approach to life, we probably won't have a lot to discuss.
