Regarding Seattle Worldcon’s use of OpenAI’s LLM for gathering information on presenters.

First of all, thank you for publicly disclosing your use of an LLM. That must have been a courageous announcement.

Here are my thoughts. With today’s o3, it should indeed be possible to research participants’ backgrounds, and I believe its hallucination rate is far lower than the biases of human staff.
