で、Intelのデータシート(6,8,10th)を眺めたところ
【6/8th,2bit】
0：DDR4
1：DDR3
2：LPDDR3
3：禁止

【10th,3bit】
0：DDR4
4：LPDDR4

で、おもむろに1とかに設定するとDDR3で動き出す可能性はややある
