MCP is a thing!

Yes, the villain from TRON was also MCP (Master Control Program).

That's not the same MCP.

In late 2024, the Model Context Protocol MCP (https://modelcontextprotocol.io/) for use with LLMs became a thing.

How effin out of touch do you have to be with the culture of computing at large to name your BS after a villain in the first film to make extensive use of CGI? (Not technically the first movie with CGI, which has the honors of going to 1973's West World apparently.)

Whatever timeline we are currently in, it is awful.

Don't expect it to improve. Not at this rate.
