I'm looking at the current state of AI technology because I have a task coming that involves porting a whole bunch of frontend code to a newer version of the framework, and make more transformations of that nature. It seems this is what AI should be good for right?

I'm conscious of the downsides of AI but I want to see if they can actually be useful. I'm really not looking forward to doing these changes by hand.

At first glance it seems very effective. You just say have a look at this component and change it to Vue's script setup style. And it bangs it out in 5 seconds. I reviewed it carefully and it checks out.

I have some custom state code that I'd like turned into Pinia, I tried one and boom done in 3 secs.
