I semi regularly get people demanding updates on FIRES

I am one person, who's chronically ill, who barely makes ends meet because grant funding only pays out once you complete milestones, so I'm working poor for maybe months at a time, trying to build something for others.

Oh, and I co-lead two taskforces, regularly contribute to multiple other activitypub oriented projects, and also end up doing freelance client work on top in a desperate attempt to try to pay my rent on time.

Forgive me if things aren't the speed you'd like, but try being in my shoes. I'm pretty burnt out at times so need to work on other things just to stay productive such that I can get back to certain things, like FIRES, or those Mastodon pull requests from literally last year, or the FEPs I've been trying to write all year.

Try being chronically ill where a significant portion of your time is burnt by coughing fits that won't stop, fatigue, stomach issues, and more.

I do an *incredible* amount of work with the time I have available. Don't expect me to always be working on the thing you want right now.

E.g., two weeks ago I found three CVEs in Mastodon, after spending a bunch of time on projects I cannot name.
