but this works, so have not messed up the SDExpress part, now just need to write some software, seems like no one implemented a card side SD library yet.
In theory its really quite trivial, is just a matter of a single response to CMD8.

A Micro SD Express card inserted into a Switch 2 via an adapter, the Switch OS recognizes and uses the card correctly.
