I'm trying to shop less on Amazon for a while now. It works mostly okay, but only because I'm willing to invest quite a bit of time to find alternatives. Depending on the product category this is A LOT of effort.

I had two cases in the last few weeks, where I found a shop (one directly by the manufacturer), where it turns out that they actually use Amazon fulfillment. In these cases I paid about 15% more, spend hours searching and still ended up with Amazon.

This is so frustrating.
