it's hard. i don't know if i have an answer as to what i would do. "travel somewhere that *does* have internet access"? is that enough? what if i can't do that?

for those of us lucky enough to have reliably-available internet access, at some point we need to grapple with the fact that it is by no means a guarantee. we need alternatives.
