Mozilla still haven't provided any numbers showing the existing "AI" stuff in Firefox is being well received by users.

Again, if the telemetry data told a positive story, they'd be singing from the rooftops about it. It is perfectly reasonable to infer from @mozilla's silence that the existing work is a flop... and a giant distraction from the actual supposed purpose of making a great browser.
