Being deliberately inflammatory to increase views is manipulative and ultimately divisive, and I'm always curious if people who make the choice to do this in their posts, articles, etc are doing so with clear understanding of their actions.

Ultimately it's disrespectful of the folks you'll want to be reading your thoughts and ideas.
