당시 범행은 현장에 함께 있던 피해 학생의 친구가 그 장면을 핸드폰으로 촬영해 드러난 것으로 알려졌다.
교육 당국은 해당 학교를 전수 조사한 결과 추가 피해 학생이 10명가량 있는 것으로 확인했다.
