중동 사태로 에너지 수급 우려가 커지는 가운데 한국 정부가 인도·태평양 지역 국가들과 공급망 협력을 강화하고 나섰다. 한국과 일본 정부는 에너지 공급망 협력을 위한 협약을 체결했다. 아울러 한국 민간기업은 미국 에너지기업과 장기 에너지 공급 계약을 맺기도 했다.
