유엔 세계식량계획(WFP) 칼 스카우 사무차장은 17일(현지시간) 기자들을 만나 현재 기아에 시달리는 인구는 3억1천900만명으로 5년간 세 배로 늘었다며 중동 사태가 6월까지 지속되면 4천500만명이 추가로 극심한 기아에 시달릴 것이라고 우려했다.
