Unwrap Live 2026

Unwrap Live is a one-day online workshop event where we'll focus entirely on creating special effects with SwiftUI. The event is aimed at intermediate to advanced developers, but I'll be explaining all the concepts along the way. We'll be focusing on a wide variety of topics, including drawing with Canvas, layer effects, scroll effects, custom text rendering, Metal shaders, and more – it's a lot of fun, and the skills you'll learn will help you add lots of surprise and delight to your next app! All sessions will take place on US Eastern time, from 9am to 4pm. They will be recorded, and you'll be able to download the videos afterwards. Note: Tickets cost $100 each, but Hacking with Swift+ subscribers get access free. If you aren't already a Hacking with Swift+ subscriber, you can find out more here. I'm also offering two other ticket types: A diversity sponsor ticket, which is for folks who already have a ticket and want me to give one ticket away to someone who would otherwise not be able to attend.
