the majority does not participate in the steering committee, the majority participates in the "rewrite or starve" web tech burnout treadmill.

in practice, this "governance" can often mean someone on the other side of the globe deciding for your project to break. and no, they would not like to have a discussion about it. especially after the fact.

both projects are oligarchies; deno is the smaller one. and, since v2, the one that is causing me—personally—less trouble.
