No, Pluribus is an easy watch. It has that exploitative eagerness and fun twists that we know from Vince Giligan's Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Homeland is a different kind of beast. It is not hard to watch or keep watching per se, but Claire Danes acting is deep and dedicated (https://www.nami.org/bipolar-and-related-disorders/the-new-normal-actress-claire-danes-homeland-and-hollywoods-new-take-on-mental-illness/) and that is not free. It is not exactly entertainment. I you like real, Claire Danes acting has less stand-up abstractions. Rhea Seehorn together with Vince Gillian's writing build comedy by designβwe anticipate entertaining twist everywhere, and Rhea Seehorn's talent is making sure those comedic abstractions don't force a severed connection to the characters depth and the story https://awardsfocus.com/genre/television/rhea-seehorn-on-the-deductive-art-of-character-unlocking-the-nuance-of-carol-in-apple-tvs-pluribus/
