sound is unmistakably Arjen, Ayreon even — this album is an explosion of voice and metal harmony —

lyrically Simone Simons is not Ayreon of course — much like Gentle Storm is the lyrics of Anneke van Giersbergen

In my view the project lends from Simone's persona on the Transitus album, that was initially sketched as a Musical Movie, but made into a comic book and album because covid-constraint — it is nonetheless and deeper exploration of the Ayreon and Simone Simons musical collaboration

(for some reason they have chosen to remove the album from bandcamp)
