I usually don’t block socks, but with allover stranded colourwork I’d say it’s definitely worth it

Two green socks with bumblebees knitted into them. The top one is pretty smooth, the bottom one is very lumpy.

There’s a sleeping cat under the socks. He’s very smooth but unblocked.

Now that the second one is also blocked (I have only one sock blocker in this size) I can finally make their state portrait! The Beeautiful Socks by Stone Knits, with mohair wings, who even thinks of that, I love them so much and am glad they’re going to my most knitworthy family member. #knitting #sockKnitting

Green socks with black-and-yellow striped cuffs and toes, and bumble bees with soft grey wings and round bumble bee bums.

To the side all the ends I wove in and snipped off, a pile as big as a sock heel, feels like as big as the moon.
