I was just checking something over the Google Maps for the city I live in - Lodz @ Poland - and got really disappointed by the Google maps quality. Its not some unimportant part of the Lodz city - its literally center of it - the "Freedom Square" ... and while it has been revitalized a YEAR AGO - it remains in the old form in Google Maps.

OpenStreetMap on the contrary has everything updated and covered - not to even mention a lot better details - not only on the "Freedom Square" but everywhere ... and you can even use OsmAnd - osmand.net/ - for offline GPS and navigation just like with Google Maps.

I also added Apple Maps to comparison ... but they focus on the Browser Agent instead of important things.

I also added real photo of the drone footage of the "Freedom Square" at Lodz for comparison.

Not sure about your part of the World - but in Poland the OpenStreetMap does a lot better job then multi billion dollar Google and Apple companies.
