I feel slightly uneasy about all the modern ways to personalize one’s iPhone. I feel like Apple used to be more opinionated on how certain things “should be”, and that was The Way To Go™.

I get that most regular people seem to appreciate being able to color tint their device’s lock and home screens, but it feels like a door has been opened that may lead to having to change a bunch of settings just to get your new shiny $1,000 iPhone to look “normal” out of the box.

Or am I just getting old? :D
