I was reminded in an office chat earlier this week that within my current employment I was once responsible for _tape backups_, i.e. the storing of data on magnetically-treated plastic film.

I have since recalled that I was in fact responsible for tape backups in at least two previous jobs, and in the first of these I was also responsible for an 8-hour recovery from said tapes. Oops.
