Hello! Re #introduction to me!

I'm a structural biochemist who studied cryoEM in grad school. Now I work for Structura (makers of CryoSPARC) to produce our education material and documentation and run workshops, seminars, trainings, etc. My thoughts on teaching are relatively simple -- I try to encourage learners to stay curious and try things!

I also was on the organizing and bargaining teams for our graduate union at OHSU. I think collective action is one of the few remaining ways we can make a difference -- if you ever want to talk about unions or organizing feel free to reach out, although it's been a few years since I was actively doing that!
