Just did my regular 60 km round-trip
35-kg-groceries run on the (including the bit where the rugged unsurfaced track climbs 150 m).

En-route I passed the also regular and very worthwhile used-clothes-coffee-and-cakes event run by an enterprising local and patronized mostly by the local ex-pat community.

Not so worthwhile was the parade of 4x4s and heavy pick-up trucks lining the tarmac 100 m either side. For a coffee and cake and maybe a fresh shirt? And all living much, much closer than the shops.

This old vid always comes to mind. Keep it clocking views please. Maybe 60% humans say - but unfortunately /far/ more than 60% of $£€ say sitting limp-legged on your butt, burning diesel is better.
