Ok, the US press pays more attention to sensational causes of death than the prevalent causes of death in the US.

However, if the prevalence statistics were presented as __age weighted__ then the resulting graphic would prob look somewhat closer the reportage one.

Reporters want your clicks. The account posting this wants your clicks by pointing out this difference.

Could've included _old age_ and made it really sensational.
