Painful as it is to watch, we Americans owe it to ourselves to watch this video and others like it, to get a good look at who we are right now, who we have chosen to be:

We, many of us, have chosen to be a nation where hordes of police and federal agents descend on a woman and her daughter and drag them screaming from a car, slamming the girl's face onto the ground.
