Still people here using Google®™? (YouTube, Android phones, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps/Earth, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Photos, Google Keep, Google Translate …)

You support a corporate greed that goes way out of its way to make as much money as humanly possible. Presently, YouTube is fighting alternative frontends like Invidious or Piped, and with horseshoes in the gloves. Google went to court against German web host Uberspace to force them to take down the downloader youtube-dl (which, ultimately, the RIAA got done.) The Chrome browser now blocks adblockers, and Android’s “Ad Topics” spy on users’ every move to tailor ads based on interests.

Fret not, though, there are alternatives to all of the services mentioned above. I’ll soon put together a list in a comment. ↓
