Young me was fascinated by the animal transformation scenes.

Middle-aged me thinks they are really working hard to get their money's worth out of Stan Winston's time for working up the effects for those sequences by making them drag out more than just a bit too long, and a bit too frequently, detracting from the very flimsy plots.

It's really not a great show, but I'm pleased to have found it for the sake of nostalgia. It's fun to watch with a drink in hand.
