i've been seeing "A COMPUTER CAN NEVER BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE / THEREFORE A COMPUTER MUST NEVER MAKE A MANAGEMENT DECISION" image a lot lately and i've come to queston it

sure, a computer cannot be held accountable. but a computer can have properties that are much more valuable than "can be held accountable" (which has happened so little with corporate management that i'm not sure it's even a relevant question anymore): it can be verifiably transparent, and it can be modified in a predictable manner.

try doing that with a CEO's brain! (i mean, i would try, no claims about success though)

now of course i say "can" because the most recent movement in computing is to completely negate those two important properties
