AirDrop has been integrating support for Wi-Fi Aware / Neighbourhood Aware Networking. This is pretty standard, and lots of existing hardware supports it. I'd love to be able to use AirDrop on non-iOS hosts, and a simple UI to use on #postmarketOS.
